Nicole Kidman Raises a Stink

Hot on the heels of the recent lawsuit filed by Hydroderm against Teri Hatcher for what the cosmetic giant is calling a breach of contract, it seems that Nicole Kidman has also found herself in a hot water bath after The Daily Telegraph ran a story in which they declared Kidman’s scent of choice was Jo Malone’s White Jasmine and Mint and not Chanel No.5, of whom Kidman is their exclusive spokesperson.
According to the paper, Kidman was such a fan of Jo Malone that she was “dabbing it on whenever she had a moment” during the UK red carpet premiere of the film, “The Golden Compass,” which she attended with her husband, Keith Urban.
Newset developments say Kidman is taking legal action over the The Daily Telegraph story and a law firm acting on her behalf says the allegations are ”entirely untrue” and “grossly defamatory.”
The firm has been instructed to obtain an immediate retraction of such allegations and are taking separate action against the Daily Telegraph.
