Lindsay Lohan on Cover of New Yorker: Emulates Marilyn Monroe
February 19, 2008 | 1 Comment
Lindsay Lohan is no Marilyn Monroe. That said, it hasn’t stopped Bert Stern from emulating the photos he took of Marilyn Monroe over forty years ago with Lindsay as the model. He says he chose Lindsay because he thinks she has depth to her. He also said he picked her because she’s been one of the party girls, one of the “bad girls.” Marilyn was once Queen of the Tabloids, too.
And while Lindsay is no Marilyn, as you can see from the photo above, taken for the New Yorker, she doesn’t look bad, either.

Tyra’s All Wrinkled
December 8, 2007 | 1 Comment
When I first saw these shots of Tyra attending the All-Star Tribute Honoring Everyday Heroes at the American Museum of Natural History on December 6th in New York, I thought, “Wow - she looks fantastic!” but on closer inspection, I noticed that while the top half of her dress looked great, the skirt looks all wrinkled - like she pulled it out of a bag or suitcase and just threw it on. The dress itself is really beautiful, but it would have looked so much better if she would have sent it out before putting it on. Her jewely is magnificent (love the earrings and bracelets!) and all in all, I think she does look fantastic - the wrinkly dress skirt just bothers me a little bit.
Naomi Campbell Is Fierce in Marie Claire

Naomi Campbell appears on the cover the December issue of Marie Claire Espana.
She must really like this Louis Vuitton dress she’s wearing on the cover because she also wore it to the Marie Claire magazine awards just two weeks ago - where she looked just as fabulous then as she does in this cover shot.
