Beyonce promotes Giorgio Armani’s Diamonds
December 19, 2007 | 1 Comment

Known for her bling, Beyonce was the obvious person to flaunt Emporio Armani’s Diamonds. Not actual diamonds. His new fragrance, Diamonds. Evidently, Giorgio Armani called her up and flew her to Italy in order to promote his latest fragrance, for which she’s the spokesperson.
Beyonce, ever her stylish self, wore a beautiful red satin dress to the promotion, along with tons of bling (actual diamonds?) on her fingers, wrists and ears to the promotion.
If you’re wondering what diamonds smell like, I can’t help you, but the scent Diamonds is a combination of lychee, raspberry, cedar wood, vanilla and rose. Like the rose in his scent, Armani wanted someone to represent the scent who was feminine, but also strong, confident and sexy.
New Yves Saint Laurent Fragrance

“L’Homme”, the new Yves Saint Laurent fragrance is for the modern man who is the essence of style and sensuality. The scent is bright and fresh, and develops into the sensual. The contrasts make this scent unique and wearable.
The scent is woody in nature with cedar, basil, sandalwood and amber, but the bergamot, ginger, citrus, violet leaves and vetiver make you think more of “art” and “luxury” than “rough” or “outdoors.”
This masculine floral scent is fronted by French actor Olivier Martinez. According to one of the scents’ creators, Pierre Wargnye, “When you bring a touch of femininity to a very masculine scent, you increase its sensuality.”
L’Homme is a very reasonable $20 to $70. There are thousands of scents for females, and every girl wants her man to smell good.

Heroes star Hayden Panettiere is quickly rising to stardom. And even though she’s just starting out, she’s already developed her own sense of style - and it’s fairly easy for the rest of us to imitate.
The young star recently designed her own handbag - it’s beautiful and red, and she’s going about carrying an incredibly fashionable black clutch, and wearing and amazing tan trench coat.
Her black patent leather clutch is a Tucker Paisley Emma Clutch, and is available at www.tuckerpaisley.com for only $215 in a wide variety of colors.
Spice Girls Concert: 8 Outfit Changes
December 17, 2007 | 1 Comment
As most of you probably know, the Spice Girls are back. Their London concert went fabulously well, with a packed show. The 20,000 seats priced at about $150 per ticket sold out in 38 seconds. Amazing. And throughout the course of the concert, the Spice Girls wowed fans with their Robert Cavalli-designed outfits. And that’s a lot of outfits - the girls had 8 costume changes during the 2 hour show.
In the pic above, they’re clearly all wearing some variation of gold - or bronze or some metal - and they also wore their signature Great Britain flag dresses. There was, however, one problem with Victoria “Posh Spice” Beckham’s outfit: and it’s not that she doesn’t have the hips she asked Cavalli for. It’s much, much worse:
Victoria Beckham: Fashionista Admires Another Fashion… Icon?
December 13, 2007 | 2 Comments
The incredibly gorgeous Victoria “Posh Spice” Beckham tends to surprise me from time to time. Her daring fashion is something that most people would never dream of emulating. And the Spice Girls Tour is no different.
Designer Robert Cavalli said he met with each of the Spice Girls so he would know a bit about their personalities so he could create outfits that match them. Cavalli said, “She wanted to experiment, to surprise and be different. Her only request was that we give her hips.”
I guess I can see why she would want them. But what I don’t understand: Victoria agreeing that Amy Winehouse is a style icon. Victoria is a style icon… but Amy? Victoria says, “She has a real sense of style that I just love. She’s very much a fashion icon and adore what she wears. She’s so unique and original.”
David Beckham Models For Armani Underwear
December 11, 2007 | 3 Comments
The Emporio Armani underwear ads featuring David Beckham have been the talk of the town since the full-frontal shot first made an appearance. For good reason, obviously.
Since David made the wise decision of signing a three-year deal, we’ll probably be seeing a lot more of the British soccer star wearing the Italian underwear (hurray!). The rumored $20 million contract means his image will be on billboards across the US, as well as in London, Milan, Rome, Paris and Tokyo.
Armani says that David was the obvious choice. “He represents a notion of modern masculinity: as a sports hero, husband and father. He is also a man with a great sense of father.”
So true. If Victoria and David Beckham have anything, they have style.
Linzi Stoppard Looks Delicious!

Violinist Linzi Stoppard looks delicious in this red and white strapless mini made of Swarovski crystals and Lindt Chocolate’s Lindor Balls. The shoot took place in London, where it was no doubt a bit chilly to be dressed in such fashion, but had it been warm, the chocolate would have melted!
Tiffany Trump: The Next Heidi Klum?
December 7, 2007 | 1 Comment
Rumor has it that Donald Trump’s youngest daughter, 14 year old Tiffany (her mom is Marla Maples), has an eye for fashion and design and just may - instead of following in her father’s footsteps - follow in the steps of Vera Wang or Heidi Klum, instead.
According to OK! magazine, the little miss has been interested in fashion and putting things together since she was a tiny tot.
Says mom, Marla:
“She loves designing. She’s always been playing with fabrics and putting things together since she was 3 years old. She’s really talking about that. She said, ‘Mommy, we have to decide which fashion school.’ I’m like, ‘Thank you for making it easier! If you’re clear about that, we’ll do it.’”
The two were on hand to attend the Fulcage/Single Mom Foundation Charity event, which is co-founded by Weston Cage, the son of actor Nicolas Cage and co-founder of the Fulcage clothing line. The proceeds of the event went to the Single Mom Foundation.

French designer Christian Lacroix opened his second store in the states earlier this week, located on East 57th Street in New York. Says Lacroix, who founded his Haute Couture house in Paris in 1987:
“I will never forget how supportive the United States and New York were at the very beginning of my career, so it is a legitimate return to my ‘American roots’ twenty years later, after my first show here.”
The store carries the Fall 2007 collection of womenswear, menswear and accessories. His Haute Couture collections, famed for ultra-luxe and artful theatricality, were joined by elegant ready-to-wear collections in 1988, followed by fantastical shoes, bags and jewelry in 1989.
Patrick Dempsey Fronts New Campaign for Versace
December 6, 2007 | 1 Comment
Patrick Dempsey is officially the new face of the Versace ad campaign and will feature prominently in the spring/summer 2008 menswear campaign. Dempsey recently wrapped a photo shoot for the campaign with top fashion photographer, Mario Testino.
“It was so lovely to work with Donatella Versace, she is an iconic and inspirational woman and a wonderful person, not to mention what a pleasure it was to work with Mario Testino, too, one of the world’s finest photographers.”
Donatella Versace says Dempsey is a perfect match:
“Patrick represents everything that is great about this collection — he has that confidence, he is completely comfortable in his own skin, which is so attractive. He is the modern man of today and of course looks fantastic in the clothes.”
