Isabeli Fontana Poses For H&M

Isabeli Fontana

While David Beckham is modeling Armani underwear, H&M is using model Isabeli Fontana to promote their underwear. The gorgeous brunette Brazilian supermodel has previously worked for the Victoria’s Secret lingerie catalogue.

Isabeli started modeling when she was 16, and the 24-year-old clearly hasn’t lost her touch. In a recent interview, Isabeli shared that she prefers lace panties - “the less coverage the sexier.”

She also said, “I feel sexiest when I have very nice clothes on, like a long, elegant dress.”

It’s no surprise, then, that Isabeli posed in lacy lingerie sets, kimono robes and mini slips. This luxe lingerie is sold at H&M - and we all know that means it’s within the budget of the average person.

Hayden Panettiere

Heroes star Hayden Panettiere is quickly rising to stardom. And even though she’s just starting out, she’s already developed her own sense of style - and it’s fairly easy for the rest of us to imitate.

The young star recently designed her own handbag - it’s beautiful and red, and she’s going about carrying an incredibly fashionable black clutch, and wearing and amazing tan trench coat.

Her black patent leather clutch is a Tucker Paisley Emma Clutch, and is available at www.tuckerpaisley.com for only $215 in a wide variety of colors.

Brad Pitt Clothing Line

Make It Right Merchandise
There’s a new celebrity clothing line! Kinda, at least. Who is the last male actor you’d expect to design clothing? Brad Pitt, seems to prefer jeans and t-shirts to anything else. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. It’s just that I wouldn’t expect him to design clothing.

Brad, who has recently started the “Make It Right” project in New Orleans, is going to the rest of America with ways to help raise money for the project. All of the clothing is environmentally safe, with organic cotton, and low-impact dyes and dying methods.

The clothing line has three different-colored unisex t-shirts ($20), which say, “Make It Right 9″ on the front, and feature a pink house on the back. There is also a baseball cap ($20) and three different Caputo hats ($30). All of the money from this clothing line goes towards building new Make It Right homes. Check out Make It Right here.

Shoppenboys: There To Help You Buy

Shoppenboys

Can’t figure out what to get that special guy, be it a husband, boyfriend, friend or brother? The good news is there might be a solution to your problem. If you’re shopping in France, that is.

The French menswear store, Celio’s, has come up with a new way to help women shopping without their men to pick out the right clothing size (and style). The store has men in all shapes and sizes, called Shoppenboys, available to help women pick and choose what they need for the men who didn’t accompany them. The store sought out volunteers, and more than 2000 men turned in applications.

Shoppenboy Laurent explained, “I think it makes people feel good. It makes other men less self-conscious because we only ever see good-looking men.”

For someone like me, who has a boyfriend who refuses to try on clothing, this could be the perfect solution.

Nicole Kidman Commits Fashion Faux Pas

Nicole Kidman in silver
To the premiere of The Golden Compass Nicole Kidman committed what can only be called a fashion faux pas. The normally beautiful and stylish Australian actress wore something a little scary. I mean, I love silver, but I’m pretty sure that silver should be done in small doses, like in accessories: silver shoes, silver handbags or clutches, silver jewelry, etc.

But Nicole wore silver from shoulders to ankle, almost like the Tin Man in the Wizard of Oz. A silver shirt (and it looks like she’s bra-less), with a platinum silver jacket and pants suit. Now, I’m not saying that she can’t pull off the shape, because she can - but the color is another matter altogether.

Nicole, just because your movie busted, doesn’t mean you have to, too.

Spice Girls Concert: 8 Outfit Changes

The Spice Girls in concert

As most of you probably know, the Spice Girls are back. Their London concert went fabulously well, with a packed show. The 20,000 seats priced at about $150 per ticket sold out in 38 seconds. Amazing. And throughout the course of the concert, the Spice Girls wowed fans with their Robert Cavalli-designed outfits. And that’s a lot of outfits - the girls had 8 costume changes during the 2 hour show.

In the pic above, they’re clearly all wearing some variation of gold - or bronze or some metal - and they also wore their signature Great Britain flag dresses. There was, however, one problem with Victoria “Posh Spice” Beckham’s outfit: and it’s not that she doesn’t have the hips she asked Cavalli for. It’s much, much worse:

Spanx
For all the women out there who want to lose inches instantly: try Spanx. Spanx are like panty hose, but soooo much better. Not only do they shape your body in a way that panty hose will never be able to do, but they also eliminate panty lines. Just in time for the holiday wear, right?

There are several options to Spanx, too, so you don’t need to get them all the way down to your toes. You can get the full length if you want - from your toes to waist, tummy or high waist - for $20-38. Or you can buy some that will shape your tummy, your butt, and your thighs, with or without toes. Basically, you can buy any combination you want. And they really work, I know. These are sold online at the Spanx website, as well as in Lane Bryant, Macy’s, and Nordstrom’s.

Joel Madden Launches Line of Fashionable Baby Clothing

December 14, 2007 | 4 Comments

 Joel Madden DCMA Collective
Joel Madden, who is expecting a little one of his own very soon with (girlfriend) Nicole Richie, has launched a collection of baby clothes on DCMA Collective. Joel’s brother, Benji, helped him the clothing line’s creation.

These clothes might look a little worrisome: I mean, there aren’t that many parents who want to dress their newborn in skulls and crossbones, but the truth is: Skulls are in. And the clothes are, surprisingly, pretty cute.

Joel said, “I was inspired to make baby clothes because I’m excited to share something I love with my kid. I think it would be really awesome for me and the baby to dress alike.” Let’s hope that means the baby’s a boy.

The designs include a onesie, a baby hoodie, and a baby t-shirt. They might not be organic, but they’re just adorable. The tee is $23… is it wrong that I want to buy that for my friend who just had a baby boy?

Victoria Beckham: Fashionista Admires Another Fashion… Icon?

December 13, 2007 | 2 Comments

Victoria Beckham

The incredibly gorgeous Victoria “Posh Spice” Beckham tends to surprise me from time to time. Her daring fashion is something that most people would never dream of emulating. And the Spice Girls Tour is no different.

Designer Robert Cavalli said he met with each of the Spice Girls so he would know a bit about their personalities so he could create outfits that match them. Cavalli said, “She wanted to experiment, to surprise and be different. Her only request was that we give her hips.”

I guess I can see why she would want them. But what I don’t understand: Victoria agreeing that Amy Winehouse is a style icon. Victoria is a style icon… but Amy? Victoria says, “She has a real sense of style that I just love. She’s very much a fashion icon and adore what she wears. She’s so unique and original.”
